2027 academic year Suneung exam date

The College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT, 수능 Suneung) is South Korea’s nationwide university entrance exam, held on a single day across the country, set and administered by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE). The United States has no equivalent single nationwide exam date, so this page shows the Korean exam as it is. The 2027 academic year Suneung is on November 19, 2026 (Thu). This page counts the days to the Suneung from the exam date confirmed in the official announcement. The count includes weekends and holidays, and it is recalculated when the date changes in Korea Standard Time (KST). The academic year, the actual exam date and the date the source was checked appear with the result.

How the Suneung countdown is counted

The count is the difference in calendar dates, in Korea Standard Time (KST), between today and the Suneung exam date in South Korea. The day before the exam is D-1 and exam day is D-day. Today counts as 0; the exam day is not added as day 1. Weekends and holidays are included in the count.

Today’s date and the days remaining change at midnight KST, because the exam is held in Korea. The count uses KST even if your device is set to another region. It does not count the hours or seconds until the exam starts.

A general D-day calculator shows past dates as D+. This Suneung page shows the past exam from the day after the exam, and shows the days remaining again once next academic year’s date has been added. Dates you have already saved elsewhere are not changed.

Privacy on this page

The days remaining are calculated in your browser. This page has no input fields, and it does not send dates or settings to the server or save them in browser storage.

To understand usage and improve the service, this page sends semku’s own usage statistics and automatic error reports to a dedicated endpoint under semku.com/api/telemetry/v1/. They are not used for advertising or third-party tracking.

Usage statistics include the stage of use (such as starting an operation), the time, and fixed identifiers that distinguish the page and feature. The days shown and the links you follow are not included, not even as hashes or size buckets. Full URLs and search terms are not sent either.

Operations and sessions are distinguished by randomly generated identifiers that exist only in memory while the page is open; they are not stored in cookies or browser storage. No cookie-based or device-fingerprint identification is used.

Error reports include the error type, code and time, and, where available, a registered program-source identifier with line and column numbers. Error message text and stack traces are not sent. Usage statistics and error reports also carry the site identifier, the published version and a random record identifier. Your IP address and user agent are not part of these fields.

If you use the feedback form, pressing Send transmits the rating you chose and the text you typed, together with a random submission ID, the page, site and published version, and the type of request. There are no fields for your name, e-mail address or phone number, and the days shown are not attached automatically. Whatever you type into the free-text field is sent as is — please do not include personal data, passwords, keys or payment details.

Separately, when you access the site, the hosting provider Cloudflare Pages records standard access logs that include your IP address, the time of the request and user-agent information.
